Phylumtech is a startup with wide experience in the sector, created with the aim of providing agile and accessible solutions to everyone in the field of the research and development of drugs. Founded in 2009, Phylumtech is the result of a powerful join venture between public and private sector. A multidisciplinary working team combines the most important of science and research with the current scenario of the 21st century: Biotechnology, Automation, Software and Bioinformatics.

After many years of work, we decided to focus heavily on the development of new services and more accessible products that will reach all users in every part of the world. A service in the Cloud is the ambitious project that will be available to all researchers, students and laboratories from every part of the world.

Our vision: To experiment and create a compound will be very easy, fast, with 100% reliable results and proven experimentation.

Our main goal: To optimize processes, costs and to deliver fast, quality and reliable results in the development and discovery of new molecules.

WHAT DO WE DO

The main focus of Phylumtech’s work is the creation of agile and effective solutions for the discovery of new drugs and molecules. We develop two business areas:

– Products: We develop technology for experimentation with small animal models. Behavior is our main expertise. As example, the WMicrotracker ONE and WMicrotracker ARENA equipment enable users to easily measure the effect of drugs in small animals models (Worms, fish, invertebrates and any organism less than 10 mm in length).

– Services: We established a service unit (CRO-like) to offer C.elegans biological tests mainly focused in Drug Discovery. We owned Drug Discovery Cloud Software to provide real time data accessibility to clients.
