The WMicrotracker ONE is optimized to quantify the behavior of animal populations cultured in liquid medium, using a 96- or 384-well plate format. It works through the detection of the interruption of infrared microbeams.
It is mainly employed for rapid discovery experiments (HTS) of new molecules, toxicants, antioxidants and RNAi.
This product has been highly validated for its use on C.elegans larvae, motile parasites, zebrafish larvae and small insect larvae.
The WMicrotracker ARENA has been designed and optimized for population measurements of small animals cultured in Agar or liquid.
Compatible with 6-well, 24-well, and 35mm Petri microplate formats.
Using an array of infrared microbeams, it quantifies the general activity of organisms and obtains a heat-map of activity location (useful for chemotaxis).
The WMicrotracker SMART allows you to follow the paths of adult worms in real time (Multi Path Tracking). The experiments are carried out in a 35 mm petri dish with NGM, obtaining a graph of routes and quantification of the activity and velocity of particles.
Additionally, it allows its use with liquid media through infrared microbeam technology.
It is adaptable to other animal models of the same size order.
